GodHand (GodHand Co., Ltd., also written "God Hand") is a modelling-tool maker in Tsubame, Niigata, Japan, that plans and sells its own tools for plastic model builders. What is the GodHand Ultimate Nipper?

It is a single-edged nipper designed for cutting plastic model parts cleanly. GodHand rates it for plastics only (PS, PP, ABS and PE) up to 3 mm in diameter, and up to 1 mm for hard clear or translucent PS.

Can I use GodHand nippers on metal?

No. GodHand lists only plastics (PS, PP, ABS and PE) as supported materials for the Ultimate Nipper, so use a separate cutter for metal parts or anything thicker than 3 mm. GodHand does make dedicated soft-metal and wire nippers for that job.

What is the difference between Kamiyasu! and GodHand files?

Kamiyasu! is GodHand's sponge and cloth sanding stick series — soft, 105 × 20 mm, 1–10 mm thick, #120 to #10000 grit. Files is the harder side of the range: edge files, scraping blades and water-resistant paper. Both are sanding tools; pick Kamiyasu! for curved surfaces and detail work, and files for edges, gates and flat faces.
