P-Bandai

P-Bandai (Premium Bandai) is Bandai's own web-exclusive line: colour variants, expansion parts, and limited runs of Gunpla and Tamashii Nations figures that never reach regular retail. Most of it sells out during its ordering window and is not reissued. This page collects every P-Bandai and Gundam Base Limited item at P-Rex Hobby, shipped from our warehouse in Vancouver to Canada and the United States.

Two kinds of items on this page

Available to order. Items marked In Stock or Pre-Order can be added to cart and ship like any other Gunpla.

Waitlist. Exclusives the official store no longer sells show a Join the waitlist button instead of Add to Cart. It is a waitlist, not a purchase: leave your email, and when enough people are waiting we go and source the kit. You pay nothing now and nothing is reserved; when a kit arrives, everyone on the list gets an email and it is first come, first served. Filter by availability at the top of the grid to see one group or the other.

Can Canadians and Americans buy P-Bandai kits?

The official Premium Bandai store limits which regions it serves and which items each region can order, which is why so many exclusives are hard to find in North America. P-Rex Hobby ships P-Bandai kits to Canada and the US from Vancouver. Canadian orders pay in CAD; US orders ship DDP with duties prepaid, so the price you see at checkout is what you pay. How is a P-Bandai kit different from the retail version?

The plastic is usually the same base moulding as the retail kit; what changes is the colour scheme, finish (clear, titanium, special coating, mechanical clear), or added parts. Expansion sets and effect units sold on their own are marked (MS body not included) in the title. Assembly is identical to a standard kit of the same grade.

Why do P-Bandai kits cost more?

They are produced once, in a quantity set by the ordering window, and never sit on shelves. Importing them adds freight and handling on top of Bandai's own premium. Prices on waitlist items are reference prices based on the original release; the final price is confirmed when the kit is actually sourced, before you are asked to buy.

FAQ

Does joining the waitlist reserve a kit for me?
No. It tells us you want it. Kits are sourced when there is enough demand and offered to the list by email in the order people signed up.

When will a waitlist item arrive?
There is no date. Some are found within weeks, some never come back. You will only hear from us when one is in hand.

Is everything here authentic?
Yes. Every item is an official Bandai release in its original packaging.

What about P-Bandai items that are still on sale at the official store?
Those are not listed here as waitlist items. Check back after the official ordering window closes.
