Gundam Marker is Mr. Hobby's pen-type paint range for Gunpla. GSI Creos describes the Gundam Marker and Color line as covering everything from pen-type paints for casual painting to professional bottle paints, and the pens need no thinner or clean-up.
The markers here include the standard colour pens, the metallic and holographic EX pens, the Real Touch markers for shading, pour-type markers for larger areas, the Shade Off marker, the eraser pen and the 30 Minutes Missions weapon and frame set. Marker sets are grouped by purpose, such as the Real Touch and SEED sets.

What kind of paint do Gundam Markers use?
The standard Gundam Marker paint markers (GM04 to GM19) use an alcohol-based paint with good color development and smooth flow. Mr. Hobby says the angled flat nib lets you paint broad areas or fine details depending on how you hold it.
Can I use a Gundam Marker panel lining pen over painted parts?
Not the ultra-fine panel lining markers (GM01 to GM03). Mr. Hobby says they are mainly for unpainted plastic, and over painted surfaces the ink can dissolve the paint. For painted parts it points to the wipe-off pens GM20 and GM21 or the GP01 mechanical pencil type.
How do the flow-in Gundam Marker pens work?
Knock the nib on scrap paper to wet it with ink, then touch it to the panel line and the ink flows into the groove. Mr. Hobby says any overflow can be removed with an eraser or the GM300 Gundam Marker erasing pen.
