⭐ Rewards Program Policy

Effective September 7, 2025

We are excited to introduce our new and improved Rewards Program, starting September 7, 2025!

We reward you every time you shop and engage with us! With our new VIP tiers—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—you can unlock bigger benefits as you spend more. All customers will be placed into a tier automatically based on their past orders!

👉 Please rest assured, your existing points will keep their full value: 100 points = $1 off your order.

🏆 VIP Tiers

• Bronze (default tier)

  • Earn 2 points per $1 spent (= 2% back)

• Silver (spend $500/year)

  • Earn 5 points per $1 spent (= 5% back)

  • 500-point entry reward

• Gold (spend $3,000/year)

  • Earn 10 points per $1 spent (= 10% back)

  • 1,000-point entry reward
    

🎯 How to Earn Extra Points

• Write a Product Review: 100 points

• Write a Review with Photo/Video: 200 points

• Refer a Friend: your friend gets $15 off their first order of $60 or more, and you get $15 in store credit once that order is delivered. See the Refer a Friend section below.

💰 Redeem Your Points

Your points turn into store credit that you apply with one tap at checkout. No codes to copy.

1. Log in to your account on our store.
2. Click the gift icon at the top of the site to open the rewards panel, then choose Ways to redeem → Store credit. (Or use the one-click prompt in your cart.)
3. Choose how many points to convert and confirm. The credit is added to your account right away.
4. At checkout, tick Apply store credit. Any credit you don't use stays in your account for next time.

Reminder:

• 100 points = $1 of store credit

• Store credit can be used on any item, including sale items and pre-orders

• Pre-orders paid with a deposit: Shopify can't apply store credit to deposit orders, so when your cart holds one we apply the same value as a one-time discount code instead (up to 5,000 points, $50, per code; convert again for more). You'll see it on the checkout page; nothing to copy

• Convert as many points as you like, any time (in steps of 100 points)

• Store credit is issued in CAD (or USD if your default address is in the US) and appears at checkout when you check out in that currency (tap Apply store credit to use it)

• Store credit converted from points is valid for 12 months from the date of conversion

• Discount codes issued before October 21, 2026 remain valid under their original terms (full-priced items only, single use)

🤝 Refer a Friend

Every member has a referral link (Points page in your account, or the rewards panel). When a friend opens it, $15 off is applied to their first order of $60 or more. No code to type, nothing to fill in.

About two weeks after that order ships, once the return window has passed, we add $15 store credit to your account (valid 12 months).

The rules:

• Your friend must be new to P-REX Hobby: it has to be their first order, from an email, address and phone number we haven't seen before. Orders placed by you, or shipped to your address, do not count.

• Their order must be $60 or more before shipping and tax.

• Cancelled or refunded orders do not count.

• One reward per new customer. There is no limit on how many friends you can refer.

⏳ Validity

Your points expire only if your account goes inactive. As long as you earn or redeem points at least once every 12 months, your entire balance carries forward — nothing expires based on how long ago you earned it.

What counts as activity: placing an order, writing a review, or redeeming points for a discount — any points activity resets the 12-month clock on your whole balance.

If your account does go inactive for a full 12 months, your points balance is reset to zero. We'll email you a reminder before that happens, so you have time to keep them.
