the zaku 2 is a fan favorite design, and in real grade flavor it looks absolutely outstanding. it uses the real grade inner frame so it has a lot of issues most early real grades have, but i think its easily overlooked. just be careful not to cut off the column for the hatch, i totally did that.
zaku 1 has a controversial design, either you love it or you hate it. personally this is my bald little baby, i love him so much. its one of the earlier hguc kits, it doesnt contain many parts and you could complete the build in an hour or 2. it has lots of option parts; a bazooka, rifle, heat hawk and a spike shield. for the price its an absolute must have for fans of this ms. i am thinking of making a small army.
don't let the year scare you, the reason we havent gotten a new mg zaku 2 is because this is the only one you need. incredibly solid frame, holds its poses incredibly well, the only thing you need to be careful with is the c clips on the side skirts.
