Perfect Grade Gundam (PG Gundam)

Perfect Grade (PG) is Bandai's 1/60 scale Gunpla line, launched in November 1998, which Bandai describes as its highest-grade brand. In 2020, the 40th anniversary of Gunpla, Bandai added the PG Unleashed sub-line.

At 1/60, PG kits are larger than the other main grades: Master Grade is 1/100 and High Grade and Real Grade are 1/144. Our grade guide compares them side by side.

Do these kits need glue?

No. Bandai introduced its snap-fit method in 1987, so the parts go together without adhesive.

What tools do I need?

Bandai recommends a modeling nipper to trim each part from its runner. Entry Grade is the exception: its touch gates can be separated by hand.
