What is a Gundam Lucky Box?
A Gundam Lucky Box is a P-Rex Hobby mystery box of genuine Bandai Gunpla kits. The grades are fixed for each box size (for example, the Medium box always holds 1 Master Grade and 2 High Grade kits), but which kits you get is a surprise, randomly picked from our in-stock lineup.
What is inside each Lucky Box?
Small: 3 × HG Gundam kits. Medium: 1 × MG and 2 × HG. Large and Platinum: 1 × MG, 1 × RG and 2 × HG, with Platinum our top tier with the highest total value. SD Gundam: 4 × SD kits. 30MM: 3 × 30 Minutes Missions mecha kits (complete figures, not option or weapon sets). Warhammer 40K: 3 × JOYTOY Warhammer 40,000 1/18 figures, 2 troopers and 1 character.
Do Lucky Boxes save money?
Yes. The Gundam boxes (Small to Platinum) and the 30MM box are priced at least 20% below the combined retail value of the kits inside, the SD Gundam box at least 30% below, and the Warhammer 40K box at least 15% below.
Can I get duplicate kits?
No. You will never receive a duplicate kit, neither within one order nor one you have already received from P-Rex, as long as you order with the same email.
Can I choose the series?
On the Small Gundam Lucky Box you can choose Random, or pick The Witch from Mercury or GQuuuuuuX so that all 3 HG kits come from that series. GQuuuuuuX boxes cost more because those kits have a higher retail value.
Which Lucky Box is best for beginners?
The Small Gundam Lucky Box (3 × High Grade) and the SD Gundam Lucky Box (4 × SD kits) are the easiest to build. The 30MM box is also beginner-friendly: 30MM kits are fast to build and fully modular.
Are the kits genuine?
Yes. Every Gundam, SD and 30MM box holds genuine Bandai kits, and the Warhammer 40K box holds officially licensed JOYTOY figures. P-Rex Hobby is a Bandai Recommended Hobby Store and sells 100% authentic products sourced from authorized distributors. U.S. orders ship duties prepaid, with no import fees at delivery.
