Character Model Kits

Character model kits are scale model kits whose subject is a living being — a person, animal, creature or character — assembled from parts rather than sold pre-built. P-Rex Hobby carries both sides of the hobby here: anime and game character kits such as "Megami Device", "Frame Arms Girl", "Sousai Shojo Teien", Figure-rise Standard, 30MS, "Pokémon", "One Piece", "Star Wars" and Studio Ghibli, — the characters themselves, not the machines they pilot.

What counts as a character model kit?

The subject is the character, not the machine. A kit belongs here when it builds a person, animal, creature or deity — including a character wearing armor or a powered suit, and including the pilot figure sold on their own. If the kit builds the mech or war machine they pilot, it belongs in Mecha Model Kits instead. Gundam kits have their own home in Gundam.
