How our pre-orders work

Most retailers open pre-orders the day a set is announced, take more orders than they can fill, and cancel the difference weeks later. We do it the other way around.

1. You join the Early Access list on the product page for a set you want. This costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
2. We request allocation from our distributor, using that interest to size the request.
3. Once allocation is confirmed, we email subscribers in the order they joined, up to the number of units we receive. Each invitation has a personal checkout link that holds one unit for 48 hours.

The trade-off is honest: joining the list does not guarantee a unit, because allocation is set by the publisher and not by us. What it does guarantee is that a pre-order you successfully place is backed by stock we have actually been allocated — so it will not be cancelled on you a month later.
