GodHand Precision Nippers PN-120 (w/ Protection Cap) — a dependable pair of precision nippers for your plastic model toolbox, supplied with a protective cap that keeps the nipper head in pristine condition while not in use.
The PN-120 is designed for precision and durability, rated for cutting materials 3mm or less. It is not recommended for transparent, semi-transparent, or hard runners, and twisting while cutting should be avoided to maintain optimal performance — cutting hard gates at the very tip can break the blade, so handle with care to extend the life of the nippers.

Using & Caring for Your Nipper
The PN-120 is rated for material 3 mm and under, and GodHand does not recommend it for transparent, semi-transparent or hard runners — clear styrene is harder and more brittle than standard plastic, and it chips edges. Treat that rating as a limit, not a target.
- Cut twice, not once. Take the part off the runner with a rough cut a few millimetres away from the piece, then trim the remaining nub flush. Cutting flush in one pass forces the blade through more plastic than it is designed for and leaves stress marks on the part.
- Let the blade do the work. Close the handles in a straight, steady squeeze. Twisting or levering the nipper sideways while the blade is engaged is the single most common way to chip an edge.
- Plastic only. Never cut metal wire, photo-etch, staples or hardened gates with a plastic nipper. One cut is enough to ruin the edge permanently.
- Mind the thick gates. On heavy or reinforced gates, remove most of the material with a hobby knife or side cutter first, then finish with the nipper.
- Wipe it down after a session. Plastic dust packs into the pivot and the flat face. A soft brush or dry cloth is enough — no solvent needed.
- Keep the cap on. The supplied protection cap is not packaging. Store the nipper capped so the edge never touches another tool in the drawer.
- A drop of light oil on the pivot every so often keeps the action smooth. Keep oil off the cutting face.
