Neon Genesis Evangelion is the Japanese anime series produced by Gainax and Tatsunoko Production and directed by Hideaki Anno, broadcast from October 1995 to March 1996. Shinji Ikari is recruited by his father's organization Nerv to pilot an Evangelion, a giant biomechanical mecha, against beings known as Angels. Studio Khara's Rebuild of Evangelion film series reboots the story, and both eras are covered here in model kits and figures.

How to choose
MODEROID and RG Evangelion units are the main mecha kits you build yourself; PLAMAX and PLAMATEA are character kits. Prize figures are pre-painted, fixed-pose and the most affordable way into a good sculpt. Nendoroid, S.H.Figuarts and ROBO-DOU are articulated for posing; Prime 1 statues and scale figures are display pieces. Product titles say whether an item is based on the TV series or a Rebuild film. Availability changes as makers reissue and retire items, so check each product page for the current status.
