How to choose a Mari Makinami Illustrious figure

Prize figures (Ichibansho, Banpresto, SEGA, TAITO, FuRyu) are pre-painted, fixed-pose and the most affordable way into a good sculpt. Articulated lines (S.H.Figuarts, figma, Nendoroid) are for posing and photography. Scale statues (1/7, 1/8, 1/6) are the display centrepieces and cost the most. Availability changes as the makers reissue and retire items, so check each product page for the current status. Browse the full Evangelion collection. Related characters: Asuka Langley, Rei Ayanami, Shinji Ikari, Kaworu Nagisa.
