These iconic vessels, including Koenig, Grosser Kurfuerst, Markgraf, and Konprinz, were at the forefront of naval warfare during WWI, commissioned between 1914-1915. They showcased their formidable prowess in numerous battles against the British Grand Fleet, notably the Battle of Jutland on May 31, 1916, where they played a pivotal role in the Third Squadron of the German Fleet, inflicting significant damage on British ships. In 1917, their valor continued as they engaged in operations against the Russian Navy in Moonsund. Following the armistice, these historic battleships met their end at Scapa Flow, where they were scuttled by their crews on June 21, 1919. This ICM kit brings history to your fingertips, allowing you to recreate the Koenig with an impressive length of 50.3cm upon completion.
