Introducing Fujimi's latest addition to their lineup - the Pearl Harbor attacker Akagi! This stunning model showcases the aircraft carrier as she appeared at the start of hostilities, serving as Vice Admiral Nagumo's flagship during the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Named after a Japanese mountain, the Akagi went on to play a crucial role in the invasion of Rabaul and the attack on Darwin, Australia, before meeting her fate at the Battle of Midway in 1942.
This all-new kit allows you to recreate the Akagi in all her glory as a waterline model. The kit includes three each of Type 21 Zeroes, Type 99 Carrier Bombers, and Type 97 Carrier Attack Bombers, all molded in clear plastic for added detail. The hull construction features a clever internal truss system to ensure strength and straightness.
