Description
Discover the iconic Japanese Navy light cruiser Yahagi with Fujimi's detailed model kit! The Yahagi, completed in December 1943 at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal, was the third Agano-class ship, designed as a torpedo squadron flagship. It boasted a modern design and armament, setting it apart from the previous 5,500-ton class cruisers. The Yahagi played a pivotal role in major WWII battles, including the Battle of Mariana Gulf and the Battle of Leyte Gulf. This model kit allows you to build the Yahagi to reflect her appearance during various years, including her final sortie with the battleship Yamato to Okinawa in April 1945.
[Includes]:
- Decals (2 types)
[Size]:
- This full-hull model kit comes with a base for display, capturing the majestic appearance of the Yahagi in detail.

- The kit includes high-quality parts for the main armaments, including three twin 15cm cannons and two 8cm twin high-angle guns.
- Features 28 single 25mm machine guns as equipped during her last mission in April 1945, and 18 single 25mm machine guns installed after the Battle of Mariana Gulf in June 1944.
- Special parts for the air work deck and the deck near the stem to accurately represent the ship's outfitting during different times of the year.
- Two types of davits on both sides of the front of the bridge to replicate the deployment in 1944.
