Introducing the 1/700 scale kit of the IJN Aircraft Carrier Unryu from Fujimi, now with an upgraded deck design! Built during WWII to strengthen the Imperial Japanese Navy`s aircraft carrier fleet, the Unryu was commissioned in mid-1944 and later sunk by the USS Redfish submarine in December of the same year.
Fujimi has crafted a new mold for the flight deck, adding historically accurate details such as an eye ring for airplane locking and a ship haulage bracket. The kit includes decals to replicate the camo design on the flight deck, along with four types of ship-loaded aircraft from the 601st Naval Air Group.
The parts are molded in light green and build into a waterline model. Plus, the first release of this kit comes with a bonus 25mm machine gun.
