HG 1/100 VF-22S Sturmvogel II Maximilian Jenius Use from "Macross 7" — Max's VF-22S with shortcut three-stage transformation and broad new-dimension articulation.
The strongest couple's VF-22S — Max's machine — joins the HG Macross plastic-model series. Max's VF-22S Sturmvogel II is recreated with simplified transformation built around interchangeable parts, enabling easy transitions among Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes.
The "shortcut three-stage transformation" pursues setting-art-faithful forms at each stage, with optimized articulation that excludes complex structures and instead places the right axes in the right spots. Head articulation pairs a movable axis with a ball joint at the neck root, shoulders pair duct articulation with shoulder-joint motion, and the chest carries multiple internal axes for wide motion in all directions. The polarized-resin canopy opens and closes, and Pinpoint Barrier Punch effect parts add action drama.
