Maschinenmensch Silver Screen Edition from Fritz Lang's 1927 silent film "Metropolis" — a 1/8 scale plastic model kit from X-Plus, standing approximately 26cm tall when completed.

Created by the scientist Rotwang as an approximation of his former lover Hel, and originally played by German actress Brigitte Helm, the Maschinenmensch "Maria" is one of the first and most iconic robots ever depicted in cinema, going on to become a primary influence on robotic design in film, television, and technology. This kit faithfully reproduces Walter Schulze-Mittendorf's design, depicting Maria in her most iconic pose, standing before the throne.

For this Silver Screen Edition, the parts are molded in a beige silver color reminiscent of the silver screen era.
