Description
Experience the pinnacle of historical aviation with the Mk.II Tempest model kit, a testament to the engineering marvels of the past. This meticulously crafted kit brings to life the second version of the iconic airframe, powered by the robust Centaurus radial engine. The Mk.II Tempest, which first soared into the skies in June 1943, quickly proved its mettle, capturing the excitement of the RAF with its flawless performance. Despite the prioritization of the Tempest V version for production due to operational demands in the European Theatre, the Tempest II's significance cannot be understated, with its first batches rolling out in October 1944. Although the war's rapid developments altered its deployment, the Tempest II's legacy was cemented by its service in various combat units across Germany and India, and its subsequent adoption by the newly independent nations of India and Pakistan.
The Hi-Tech release of the Mk.II Tempest model kit is a collector's dream, featuring an array of finely detailed and 3D-designed resin parts. From the pilot's seat to the control column, and from the rudder pedals to the throttle quadrant, every component is crafted with precision. The kit includes:
[Includes]:
- Pilot's seat
- Control column
- Rudder pedals
- Throttle quadrant
- Cockpit floor
- Two styles of the main u/c wheels (smooth contour tyre and tread pattern)
- Tail wheel
- Cannon barrels

The surface of the kit showcases very finely engraved rivet details, elevating the realism of your model. This release also introduces the option to add underwing rocket projectiles and their racks, along with different nose parts for building the radial-engined version. The comprehensive A4 size instruction sheet, printed in full color, ensures a guided and enjoyable building experience.
Decorate your model with three decal sheets offering five camouflage schemes, including three in British colors, one Indian, and one belonging to the Royal Pakistan Air Force. From camouflaged British machines with white identification stripes to the silver dope and desert camouflage of the Indian and Pakistani Tempests, respectively, these decals provide the finishing touches to your masterpiece. The decal sheets also include a complete set of stenciling for both the exterior and interior of the aircraft, as well as for the external fuel tanks, ensuring your model is as authentic as it is impressive.
