The RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type is the machine that made Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team feel like a war story instead of a hero story: mass-production parts, jungle mud, and a loadout built for holding ground. Bandai's RG treatment is an all-new sculpt that carries the entire arsenal, with frame work aimed squarely at the kneeling and bracing poses the series is remembered for.
Key Features
- Completely new sculpting across the main body and its full arsenal, with RG-level surface detail throughout.
- Waist and leg frame structures reproduce the show's kneeling and firing stances faithfully.
- Chest panel gimmicks open for the Vulcan gun and the cockpit hatch.
- Leg-mounted saber racks open, with removable beam sabers.
- The backpack mounts the weapon container and simulates its lifting and lowering movement; the container itself locks open and closed, with an internal rack that moves in tandem with the lid.
- Head antenna can be built in white or yellow, and ground effect parts are included for displaying the shield.
