Description
ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" joins the Metal Robot Spirits series from Tamashii Nations.
The figure was supervised by Naohiro Washio, the original designer of Gundam Barbatos, with design by Ryu Sakano. It has the highest die-cast ratio in the Robot Spirits series, for an accurate rendering of its rugged look. The body uses a matte base color with gloss and metallic accents; the die-cast joint parts are electroplated to contrast with the matte armor, and the frame has an extra layer of metallic paint. Tampo printing applies the original markings across the body and weapons.
It can mount the Sword Mace, Twin Mace and a 200mm cannon whose barrel rotates 360 degrees, as well as an arm rocket cannon and the large Valkyrie Buster Sword. The chest cockpit opens and closes, and the shoulder armor is removable to show heat dissipation. Eye effect parts recreate the eyes lighting up, and a display base carries original markings inspired by the battle on Mars.
