Description
Discover the German "Komet" - The Me 163B Model Kit on P-Rex Hobby
Experience the thrill of history with the Me 163B "Komet", the world's only operational rocket-powered interceptor from WWII. Known for its astonishing speed and climb rate, the Me 163B was a marvel of engineering, designed to intercept allied bombers deep within Europe and Germany. Despite its capabilities, the aircraft's operational wing only managed to shoot down 9 enemy aircraft during the war. Like its namesake, the "Komet" left a bright trail in the annals of history.
This 1:32 scale Me 163B model kit marks MENG's first foray into large-scale aircraft projects, offering an unparalleled building experience. With dimensions of 178mm in length and 292mm in wingspan, this model is a substantial representation of the historic interceptor.

- 2 polycaps

This meticulously detailed model captures the unique tail-less design of the Me 163B, including two different weapon systems (MG 151/20 and MK 108), a complete HWK 109-509A rocket engine, T-Stoff tank, and ammunition box. Builders have the option to display many hatches in either an open or closed position, and the model's fuselage breakdown mirrors the actual aircraft's structure, requiring no cement for the joining of the front and rear parts. A support frame is included to showcase the interior details vividly.
Additionally, the kit offers three painting schemes, allowing for a personalized touch. Whether you're a seasoned modeler or new to the hobby, this large-scale fighter model with full interiors promises a fresh and exciting building experience.
