Kotobukiya VIRTUOUS STYLE 04 — Futsunomitama — the fourth entry in the VIRTUOUS STYLE weapon series for female character plastic model kits, part of Kotobukiya's M.S.G lineup.
The set pairs two sci-fi styled single-edged swords with a large scabbard that can sheath both at once. The straight sword is a super-sized blade measuring 175mm from handle to tip, with a mitsudomoe pattern (three comma-shaped figures in a circle) on its hand guard. The curved sword carries its curve on the blade side. The hand guard is removable and can also be used on the curved sword, and the two swords can be connected into a single sword — with the scabbard large enough to sheath the joined blades.
Parts come finished in three colors — pearl white blades, red guards, and gray hilts — for a cohesive look from simple assembly. Concept and design are by the artist Hiryuu Koubou. The set is sized for character models around 14-15cm tall, from series such as Sousai Shojo Teien, Frame Arms Girl, Megami Device, and Arcanadea, and measures approximately 18.5cm long when completed.
