Hobby Boss presents the S-400 Triumph (NATO reporting name: SA-21 Growler), an advanced anti-aircraft weapon system developed by Russia's Almaz Central Design Bureau in the 1990s. This system, an upgrade of the S-300 family, has been operational within the Russian Armed Forces since 2007. Its development journey began in the late 1990s, with its first successful tests conducted at Kapustin Yar in Astrakhan on 12 February 1999. Following these tests, the S-400 was slated for Russian army deployment in 2001, with the project completion announced in February 2004. In April, the system's capabilities were further demonstrated by intercepting a ballistic missile with the upgraded 48N6DM interceptor missile, leading to its official service acceptance in 2007.
