Hatsune Miku: Beauty Looking Back Miku Ver. -Kyugetsu Collaboration Japanese Doll- from Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku — a Japanese doll created by Good Smile Company and Kyugetsu, one of Japan's leading doll manufacturers.
Part of the "Dancing Haniwa & Beauty Looking Back Repair Project", the doll's kimono is made of actual embroidered fabric handcrafted by Kyugetsu's craftsmen, giving it a texture unlike that of figures. Miku's head and hands were sculpted as figure parts to bring Rella's delicate illustration to life.
Kyugetsu is a manufacturing wholesaler of dolls founded in the Edo era, known for traditional Japanese dolls such as hina dolls and gogatsu dolls. A portion of the sales of this product is donated to the National Center for the Promotion of Cultural Properties for restoration projects.
