Description
GodHand Line Engraving File, Small, Right-handed (GH-MTY-S-R) — a single-cut file made specifically for scribing panel lines into plastic.
The patented part is that the teeth are cut on one face only. A single-sided file cuts a finer line than a double-sided one, and the shape of the working corner is relieved so the file meets less resistance as you cut — which is what lets you pull a reasonably straight, sharp line freehand, and change direction without fighting it. Pressure decides the width: lean in for a wider line, ease off for a thin one. It is the right tool for making the first pass before you reach for a chisel, it works on curved part surfaces, and it is useful for re-scribing the detail on figure hair parts. A wooden file handle is included, and it can be pushed, pulled or used to work a flat.
