Description
1/48 X-Wing Starfighter Moving Edition is a 1/48 scale plastic model kit from Bandai of the Rebel starfighter from "Star Wars", with built-in sound, motion and lights.
The wings open and close with the same motor sound as in the films, the signature feature of this edition. Built-in sounds include R2-D2's beeps, the wing opening and closing sound and the proton torpedo launch sound, and LEDs light the console, rear engines and proton torpedo ports.
Buttons on the dedicated display select normal, silent, demo and silent demo modes. The canopy can be built with frame and clear parts, frame only, or clear parts only (opening), and swappable landing gear recreates the landed or maintenance state. A seated pilot, a standing pilot and R2-D2 in the same scale are included. Three AA batteries are required (sold separately).
