Description
Soul of Chogokin GX-08R Aphrodai A vs GX-09R Minerva X is a Tamashii Nations two-figure set released for the 50th anniversary of Mazinger Z, pairing Sayaka Yumi's Aphrodai A with Mazinger Z's partner Minerva X.
Both robots have their characteristic body lines, with die-cast arms, legs, waists and feet. Extra-flexible ankle joints allow graceful poses. The Sayaka Yumi pilot figure and Aphrodai A's cockpit are newly modeled.
Aphrodai A's chest missiles launch with a switch on her back, and parts showing her chest after launch are included. Two Mazinger Z-style flight rockets attach to Aphrodai A's display base, and their large warheads can be loaded and ejected. Optional hands let the Mazinger Z Kakushin figure grab the rockets, as in episode 32.
