Description
MGSD Freedom Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" — the first kit in the MGSD line, fusing MG-grade engineering and detail into an SD-sized Freedom about 115 mm tall.
SD Gundam meets MG technology. The new high-end SD brand "MGSD" launches with Freedom Gundam, packing the highest articulation, gimmickry and detail expression in SD history. Standing about 115 mm tall, the kit equips most of its inner frame with movable mechanisms for smooth motion.
The main camera and twin eyes use a double-layered structure with clear parts, and Bandai's new "Real Metallic Gloss Injection" technique is applied across the body for a true metal look. The wing binder interior uses the new "Reflection Cut" mechanism on the clear parts, and the outer armor uses two-tone color injection for added precision. The head moves on three axes, the torso has multiple movable axes for left/right swing and forward/back tilt, and the swinging hip joints expand the leg's range. Shoulder swing mechanisms and a forearm extension gimmick let the arms reach deeper. Knee armor and rear knee verniers move in concert for a full bend, and movable toes allow a natural kneeling pose despite the SD silhouette.
