The starring mech of "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083" was developed as the successor to the RX-78 Gundam after its standout service in the One Year War. The torso design plays up GP01's defining feature by housing the Core Fighter II horizontally as a fixed internal unit. A display-model Core Fighter II is included in the box.
