Description
Action Base 1 (Gray) from "Bandai Display Accessories" — a multi-purpose display base by Bandai sized for SD, 1/144, and 1/100 scale Gunpla and similar mecha kits.
Action Base 1 is a plastic injection snap-fit assembly base that requires very little work to set up — no cement or paint required. The octagon base and the square sub-section that connects to any side feature mechanical detailing and panel lines, plus ten holes for placing the support pole at different positions. The pole itself uses a locking mechanism to extend or retract, and the main stand can also extend upward for higher poses.
The set ships with three sizes (8 mm, 9 mm, and 11 mm) of U-shaped holders, peg-type holders, and screw-on holders (two screws and a nut included) for attaching the main stand to the kit's crotch. Double-sided tape is included for use with the U-shaped or screw-on holders. A name plate snaps into any of the base holes, and up to six Action Base 1 units can connect together for sprawling group displays.
