X-Wing Starfighter 1/72 is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit by Bandai of Luke Skywalker's starfighter from Star Wars: Episode IV.
The lines on the fuselage sides are color-separated in the molding, while finer lines use water-slide decals and Tetron stickers. Characteristic internal details are reproduced, including the rear internal mechanics and the sensors inside the nose cone.
Two canopy types are included, fully clear or frame only, along with landing gear for a landed or maintenance display. A seated pilot in the same scale and R2-D2 and R5-D4 droid parts are included. The display base is themed on the Death Star, and several can be collected and connected.
