Description
1/72 Falco — a 1/72 scale model kit by Aoshima, No. 2 in the Future Boy Conan series.
The Falco is Industria's patrol flying boat, originally developed for ocean survey work and armed later. It has a two-storey cabin: the observer seats are on the first floor and the cockpit on the second. In the anime setting the propeller pitch is set so that the propeller turns in the reverse direction, and the kit reproduces the aircraft as set. A pilot figure is included, the cockpit is reproduced, and a display stand is supplied. Completed, the model measures 130 mm long, 250 mm wide and 70 mm high, and the parts are molded in yellow, blue and clear. The series is Hayao Miyazaki's directorial debut.
