Metal Build is Bandai TAMASHII NATIONS' flagship articulated figure line — premium die-cast metal frames combined with reimagined character designs from outside collaborators. Sizes typically run 20-25 cm, packed with effect parts, weapon arrays, and stand systems.
The Metal Build catalog covers Gundam mobile suits (Strike Freedom, Exia, Aile Strike, Devise Exia) plus iconic Evangelion units, Getter Robo, and other classic mecha.
Buyers usually start with Metal Build for a centerpiece display piece — they're not casual purchases. Authentic and authorized at P-Rex Hobby; we are an official Bandai Recommended Hobby Store.
What is METAL BUILD?
METAL BUILD is a Tamashii Nations finished-figure brand. Tamashii Nations describes it as combining the strengths of Chogokin die-cast toys with design arrangements suited to each work, made through the hands of various creators.
Are METAL BUILD figures made of metal?
They use die-cast metal in part. Tamashii Nations says Chogokin know-how is applied to the line and the figures are designed to feel weighty, with some designs deliberately leaving metal exposed. As an example, METAL BUILD Hi-ν GUNDAM lists its materials as ABS, PVC and die-cast.
Which series does METAL BUILD cover?
The collection includes Gundam, such as Zeta Gundam and Hi-ν Gundam, as well as “Code Geass”, “Full Metal Panic!” and Evangelion items. Some Code Geass figures are listed under METAL BUILD Dragon Scale.
Are weapon and option sets sold separately?
Some are. The collection includes separate listings such as the XL-3 Booster for Laevatein Option Set and a Weapon Set for Evangelion. Check each product page for which figure it fits.
