Mai Sakurajima

Mai Sakurajima is the heroine of Hajime Kamoshida's light novel series Rascal Does Not Dream (Seishun Buta Yarō, 16 volumes from 2014 to 2025). An actress who steps away from the spotlight, she finds people gradually stop noticing her; Sakuta, the only one who still sees her, first meets her in a library where she tests her invisibility in a bunny girl outfit, which is why so many of her figures use that look.

How to choose a Mai Sakurajima figure

Prize figures (Ichibansho, Banpresto, SEGA, TAITO, FuRyu) are pre-painted, fixed-pose and an affordable way to get a good sculpt. Articulated lines (S.H.Figuarts, figma, Nendoroid) are for posing and photography. Scale statues (1/7, 1/8, 1/6) are the display centrepieces and cost the most. Availability changes as the makers reissue and retire items, so check each product page for the current status. Browse the full Rascal Does Not Dream collection.
