Luffy

Monkey D. Luffy is the lead of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda's pirate adventure running in Weekly Shōnen Jump since 1997. He ate the Gum-Gum Fruit as a child, which turned his body to rubber, and he now captains the Straw Hat Pirates on a voyage to find the One Piece and become Pirate King.

What makes Luffy stand out

• The rubber body is the visual hook. Because his limbs stretch, inflate and bounce, Luffy's attacks do not look like anyone else's, and each Gear pushes the deformation further. The Gear 4 and Gear 5 releases here are sculpted mid-stretch.
• Decades of arcs, decades of outfits. The story has run long enough that Luffy has a different look in each era. Releases in this collection cover the East Blue fight with Arlong as well as Gear 5 from Wano.
• Formats run from palm-size to statue. World Collectable Figure releases are small fixed pieces, LookUp figures sit down, Variable Action Heroes are larger jointed figures, and FiguartsZERO and Imagination Works pieces are statues.
• He rarely ships alone. Several releases pair him with another character: Luffy and Ace in one statue, Luffy and Chopper in another, and a boxed set of cat-shaped crew figures.

What this collection covers

Articulated S.H.Figuarts and Anime Heroes figures, fixed FiguartsZERO and Imagination Works statues, seated LookUp and palm-size World Collectable Figure releases, and the larger Variable Action Heroes line.
