Discover the iconic Type 38 Infantry Gun Type, a bolt-action rifle that was Japan's primary firearm for four decades, from 1905 after the Russo-Japanese War to the conclusion of World War II. Developed by Kijiro Nanbu under the guidance of Shigeaki Arisaka, this rifle is an improved version of the Model 30 rifle. It features a simplified bolt structure, enhanced safety measures, and a dust cover, making it a highly regarded weapon by the United States military during its service. Now, Tomytec renders this historical firearm with a crafted replica as part of its "Little Armory" collection, in collaboration with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Weapon School.
This model allows for customization with six types of bolt parts, offering variations with or without the dust cover, which is designed to minimize thickness.
