Description
Discover the intricacies of military history with the Gerard, a crafted self-propelled anti-aircraft gun model kit. Developed in West Germany in 1965 and deployed within the West German Army in 1973, this iconic vehicle has marked its presence with about 400 units stationed in West Germany and further units exported to the Netherlands and Belgium. This model captures the essence of the Gerard with its detailed turret featuring an Oerlikon 35mm anti-aircraft gun and four smoke-grenade launchers, all mounted on the robust Leopard 1 chassis. Enhanced with a computer system for calculating shooting specifications, this model promises high-precision anti-aircraft representation.
The limited-edition model kit from Takom brings history to your fingertips with tracks designed to be movable post-assembly. To ensure an authentic building experience, the kit includes metal wire, photo-etched parts, and decals, allowing for a detailed and realistic model.
