Description
Discover the AH-64, an iconic attack helicopter developed in the United States during the 1970s, designed as the successor to the formidable AH-1. The AH-64D variant, affectionately known as the Apache Longbow, represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the AH-64A, featuring an engine overhaul and advanced electronic equipment enhancements. Specifically tailored for the U.S. Army, the AH-64D incorporates a block-based upgrade system. The Block II version boasts enhanced communications capabilities, seamlessly integrating with the U.S. Army's tactical-grade C4I system, FBCB2, and establishing connections with the AN/TSQ-158 enhanced position assessment reporting system.
This crafted model kit from Takom renders the AH-64D with an array of detailed components. It includes clear parts for a realistic appearance, photo-etched parts for intricate detailing, decals for four distinct versions, and a figure to add an extra layer of authenticity. Additionally, this model offers the unique feature of replicating the helicopter with its rotor blades folded, providing an alternative display option.
- [Includes]:
- Photo-etched parts
- Decals for 4 versions
