Description
Shoryo Uma Plastic Model Cucumber & Eggplant — a 1/1 scale plastic model kit of the Shoryo Uma (Spirit Horse) from Syuto Seiko.
Shoryo Uma are vegetable "vehicles" made during the Obon period in Japan to welcome home and send off deceased ancestors: the cucumber is the horse that welcomes spirits home, and the eggplant is the cow that sends them off. The textures of the real vegetables are recreated in plastic, and the PS plastic legs have ball joints at the base, with each of the four joints articulated.
Each vegetable body has ten 3mm holes, so the legs can be attached in different positions to suit different poses. The kit is separated into three colored runners and needs no adhesive. The cucumber is approximately 170mm long and the eggplant approximately 110mm long.
Key Features
- 1/1 scale plastic model kit
- Realistic vegetable textures
- Articulated ball-jointed legs
- Three colored runners: green (cucumber), purple (eggplant), light yellow (legs)
- No adhesive required
