Description
MG RX-78-2 Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam — Bandai's Master Grade kit of the original Gundam, aimed at the modeler who grew up with the 1979 series.
Like every kit in the MG line, the RX-78-2 is articulated almost everywhere. Panels on the legs flip open to reveal the internal mechanisms, the head has an opening panel too, and the Core Fighter can be removed from the torso.
The kit snaps together and the parts are molded in color, so no painting is necessary, though cement and paint will improve the finished model. Many surface markings are printed directly on the plastic, and replacement transfers are supplied for builders who want to paint.
