Discover the might and history of the Soviet T-10M Heavy Tank with this detailed 1/35-scale plastic model kit. Originally designated as the IS-8 before being renamed, the T-10 was a formidable presence on the battlefield, developed in the early 1950s. With around 1500 units produced, its primary firepower came from a 122mm M-62-Ts (2A17) rifled gun, complemented by a 14.5mm KPVT coaxial machine gun and an anti-aircraft machine gun for secondary defense. The T-10M was not only a powerhouse in terms of armament but also featured advanced technology for its time, including infrared night vision equipment for both the loader and the commander, and a NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protection system. Powered by a robust 750hp V-12-6 diesel engine, it boasted a top speed of 50km/h and an operational range of 350km, with a combat weight of 51 tons. This tank played a significant role in Operation Danube during the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 and was finally retired from service in 1993.
