Discover the precision and detail of Meng's model kit, meticulously developed in partnership with Michael Mas from the Latrun Tank Museum in Israel. This model captures the essence of the Namer APC, a formidable armored personnel carrier that entered service with the Israeli Defense Forces in the summer of 2008. Based on the robust Merkava Mk.4 chassis, the Namer boasts modular armor, a V-hull bottom for enhanced blast protection, and NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) defensive measures to ensure the safety and repairability of its crew. Armed with a choice of a Browning M2 heavy machine gun or a Mk.19 automatic grenade launcher mounted on the Samson RCWS, alongside a 7.62mm FN MAG and a single 60mm mortar, this model represents the pinnacle of military engineering. Capable of transporting 12 crew members and fully equipped infantry, this kit allows you to recreate three distinct versions of the Namer: the late type, the command version, and a variant outfitted with the Trophy Active Protection System. Each hatch is designed to open and close post-assembly, adding to the realism and display options. The kit includes clear parts for the lights and periscope, enhancing the authenticity and detail. The folding stretcher is digitally sculpted for precision, and for those looking to further customize their model, the Nochri Degem Dalet mine-roller system (available separately) can be added.
