Step back in time and marvel at the engineering marvel that was the French super heavy tank Char 2C. Known for its colossal stature, this tank was a behemoth of its era, weighing in at 69 tons and stretching over 10 meters in length. Despite its size, it boasted impressive features such as electrical transmission, powerful engines with a 500hp output, and a formidable 75mm main gun. Its armor, thick at 45mm in the front and 22mm on the sides, made it a futuristic vision in the early 20th century. Although it missed its chance to shine in WWI, its legacy lived on through propaganda efforts by the French Army. As newer tanks emerged post-WWI, the Char 2C's time in the spotlight waned, but its impact remained.
Meng Models is proud to present the 1/35 scale French Super Heavy Tank Char 2C model kit, a tribute to this iconic piece of military history. This designed kit comprises 544 parts, including components on 16 sprues and 150 track parts, alongside 10 PE parts on one PE fret. Thanks to the innovative use of slide-mold technology, we've ensured enhanced part precision and streamlined assembly. The kit features cement-free workable track links for a hassle-free building experience. Once assembled, the model measures approximately 294mm in length and 86mm in width. To add a touch of authenticity, instructions for three different paint schemes are included, allowing you to customize your model to your liking.
