Description
ARTFX J Soshiro Hoshina from "Kaiju No. 8" — the vice-captain of the Third Division joins Kotobukiya's ARTFX J lineup in a fierce combat stance with his specialized swords. This 1/8 scale pre-painted figure by Kotobukiya captures the beloved Defense Force officer in stunning detail.
Hoshina is depicted mid-battle, gripping his specialized swords with intricate designs faithfully recreated down to the blade edges. His suit, mask, and weapons have been carefully sculpted to convey the atmosphere of a Defense Force officer from every angle. Special attention was paid to the texture of each material, with paint application that differentiates fabric, armor, and metal for an elevated sense of realism.
The base is inspired by a road during one of Hoshina's destructive encounters with kaiju, featuring detailed shading that captures the depth of uneven pavement and includes parts of a road marking. Display alongside other ARTFX J figures from the Kaiju No. 8 lineup — Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, Kikoru Shinomiya, and Mina Ashiro — to recreate the full Third Division roster.
