This detailed replica celebrates the aircraft's first flight on December 30, 1934, and honors the "Type 24" variant, equipped with the M-63 engine and a reinforced chassis, which saw production in 1939-40 with 934 units made. During the summer of 1941, the I-16 was at the forefront of Soviet Fighter Aviation, playing a crucial role in air battles across all sectors of the Soviet-German front and remaining in combat until mid-1943. This model kit, when assembled, measures 19.2cm in length and has a wingspan of 28.2cm. It comprises 115 parts and includes decals for an authentic finish.
