Discover the latest addition to Hobby Boss's 1/48-scale armor collection: the 152mm gun turreted Russian KV-2 heavy tank, now available as a captured German version. This model is precision-molded in light gray styrene, ensuring sharp details that will impress any modeler. The kit is enhanced with a fret of photo-etched parts and link-and-length styrene tracks, designed with a realistic sag for added authenticity. To assist in the assembly, "templates" are provided to perfectly shape the track links around the drive sprockets and idlers. Hobby Boss has meticulously recreated weld seams on this model, adding to its realism. Additionally, metal wire is included for the tow cables, and the kit comes with markings for three different vehicles. New parts, including the commander’s cupola and a rear jerry can rack, have been introduced to accurately represent a German-captured vehicle.
