Description
GodHand KAMABOKO File, 5 mm (GH-KF-5-S) — a half-round file with no teeth on the arch, so it can be worked right up to an edge without cutting the side beside it.
The trick is the missing teeth. Because the arch carries no abrasive and is narrower than the filing face, you can file right into a corner without touching the surface next to it — GodHand puts the working range at reverse-edge angles from 180° down to 90°. The arch also stiffens the file: it flexes less, so the force of your hand reaches the filing face instead of being lost in the bend, and you can concentrate on the angle rather than on pressing. The grip is deliberately short and slim so you cannot grip it hard — which keeps you from distorting the surface, and makes it easier to file flat. At 5 mm wide it still fits into narrow places.
