Description
Godzilla from "Godzilla 2000: Millennium (1999)" — an action figure in the Hiya Toys EXQUISITE BASIC Series, none scale, standing 18cm tall.
In the film, Godzilla lands in Nemuro, Hokkaido, destroys the town and disappears, then makes another landing in Tokaimura, Ibaraki Prefecture. Meanwhile a mysterious rock mass discovered in Kashima Nada by the Crisis Control Intelligence (CCI) suddenly begins flying and confronts Godzilla; when Godzilla radiates a heat ray, a giant UFO appears from within the rock mass.
The figure reproduces Godzilla's fierce eyes, reptilian mouth, sharp dark green skin and other suit details. Teeth and claws are painted with a yellowed, aged finish for a more biological look, and the sharp dorsal fin, shaped after flames, is painted in metallic purple. Multiple points of articulation allow a wide range of dynamic poses while retaining the original design.
