Duplicate Key Frames: Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji The Great Wave off Kanagawa — a framed art print by illustrator iXima placing Hatsune Miku in Katsushika Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
Katsushika Hokusai produced more than 30,000 works over his career some 260 years ago, and his compositions and use of color remain innovative today. In this collaboration, illustrator iXima depicts Hatsune Miku within the world of Hokusai's artwork.
iXima sees ukiyo-e as both the origin and a perfected form of translating objects and spaces onto a two-dimensional plane, and pairs elements of Hokusai's paintings with Hatsune Miku, who can take on countless forms.
The frame is made of paper, PS and decorative fiberboard and measures approx. H 410mm x W 320mm x D 25mm; the picture itself is approx. H 297mm x W 210mm.
